About

I am a senior at the College of Charleston pursuing my B.A. in English, with a concentration of writing, rhetoric, and publication with an additional Communications minor. I have always had a strong interest in editorial work, especially for lifestyle and travel magazines. Through my experience at CofC, I have taken many classes that have allowed me to expand my writing capabilities and work on projects that simulate real field work in the publishing industry. My experience interning at Charleston magazine has allowed me to grow as a writer and future employee, teaching me how to be thorough and intentional in my work. I am also interested in gaining experience in graphic design work in magazines, as well as using those skills to benefit digital marketing. I look forward to working for a company that will push me to learn new parts of the publishing industry and is dedicated to producing entertaining and valuable content.
